Great, post a link with your post if you don't mind. At least 7 of the 17 I was able to match without much effort. Others could have changed agency since the article, or were too common of a first name for me to match.

The Midland Agency looks sus with not very much info about "their models" but that's only a few on this list.

Their profile page shows more of their work if you click their pictures. So at least 10 of the 17 are real models.

Looks like #3 and #6 weren't even signed to big agencies at the time (whatever "street cast" means) so they may have never made it as models or are just harder to locate without more details.

That W Mag list is most likely legit, as a lot of those models are booking major fashion shows and are seemingly successful now in 2019.
