Sorry I'm late, anon. Something in your post piqued my interest - specifically the tent in front of Eden Fine Art. I've heard of this gallery before. Their art is... telling... and they have a history of odd policies regarding access to their upper floors (see Yelp reviews from Soho branch).
So, If a VIP is staying at the Palace... why is the tent in place across the street at Eden Fine Art?
My guess? The reason the 437 building is barricaded is not a VIP at the Palace. After all, they didn't barricade the whole block around the Palace, did they? They're scrubbing evidence from the 437 building, or from EFA gallery.
Any chance you can get photos or details of what they're doing? Any other NY anons in the area? Whose tent is that? Whose people are guarding/working?
