EU offers Brexit delay until May 22 only – leaked draft

 

The EU is poised to agree to Theresa May’s request to delay Brexit, a leaked draft document shows. But it says the extension is possible only until May 22, as the UK “doesn’t intend to hold elections to the EU parliament.” The delay itself will only take effect if the UK parliament approves the ill-fated May Brexit plan next week, the document states. The divorce agreement with the EU has already been rejected by British MPs twice.

Judicial Watch Uncovers More Classified Emails in Hillary Clinton’s Unsecure Email System

 

Judicial Watch today announced it received 756 pages of newly uncovered emails that were among the materials former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton tried to delete or destroy, several of which were classified and were transmitted over her unsecure, non-“state.gov” email system.

 

Hillary Clinton repeatedly stated that the 55,000 pages of documents she turned over to the State Department in December 2014 included all of her work-related emails. In response to a court order in another Judicial Watch case, she declared under penalty of perjury in 2015 that she had “directed that all my emails on clintonemail.com in my custody that were or are potentially federal records be provided to the Department of State, and on information and belief, this has been done.”

Country music singer Justin Carter dies after accidental shooting

 

Country music singer Justin Carter died after a reported accidental shooting involving a gun being used as a music video prop, according to reports.

The Texas native had recently signed a deal with Triple Threat Management. Mark Atherton, who signed Carter, confirmed the death to ABC 11 in Houston Thursday.

The gun reportedly went off accidentally in Carter’s apartment after it was used as a prop for a music video, according to Atherton.

Other details about the musician’s death were not immediately available.

His mother, Cindy McClellan, told Fox News that the gun in his pocket “went off and caught my son in the corner of his eye” on Saturday.

Carter leaves behind two young daughters.

"He was a wonderful person, very loving and he loved our God very much," McClellan told the outlet. "He had a Bible in his room, in the den, he had one in his truck. He gave to charities."

She said the family had set up a GoFundMe account to cover funeral costs, as well as transport his body back from Houston to San Antonio.

The management group said that Carter’s music will be released posthumously and proceeds will be given to his family.

“Justin had a potential to, you know, in our eyes, and a lot of people's eyes to be the next Garth Brooks," Atherton said.
