There are so many things anon learned, and is still learning, but the most important thing oldanon has learned: Oldanon is NOT ALONE. (oldanon never knew that before).
So, what to do with visiting adult offspring? Anon is lucky, offspring is coming to visit. Offspring made the choice. That's pretty much what all us estranged anons (which is all of us) can do. Lay the foundation and then wait them out.
