YT was/is supposedly a "losing money" venture. They just can't seem to figure out how to make money. This is like putting a teenager in a race car and expecting a miracle run.
Some business geniuses? hell no
so, what are they?
Suppose you bought your own channel with a yearly registration fee – like ICANN –
and paid YT for the right to post your videos.
Suppose when you registered your channel
you had to "rate" yourself
and then had to abide by the specifications for that "rating."
Parents could set their "access" to "not see" channels that they consider offensive or that they do not want children access to.
The only limitations would be that you stayed strictly within the guidelines you set for your channel. How hard is that?
Channel owners could make money by
choosing from a list of advertisers who want
to appeal to a particular audience.
Easy stuff. How to make money.
Too complicated for CEO geniuses???
