I remember in the 1980s a bunch of allegations were being waged against day care centers sexually abusing children.
This is also the time when the Franklin coverup was taking place and Cathy O'Brien's book TRANCE formation of America was written.
IMO all of theses allegations had to be discredited in order to protect the guilty and a massive damage control protocol was put into place by the culprits.
But part of the coverup was to create "fake" abuse cases to convince people that is was all a matter of psychiatrists manipulating children into believing they had been abused. Then people would, in their minds, lump the real abuse cases with the fake abuse cases and chalk it up as a hoax. That is how "they" do damage control.

My mom worked and I had older siblings that were supposed to be watching me.
Basically, I grew up like a weed.
