How have I never seen the wreckage of JFK Jr's plane? Makes it patently obvious why they sealed the records for 25 years.
The official report stated three bodies were found still buckled into their seats. Water impact after new pilot lost sight of the horizon and over corrected then crashed.

Video is Bill Cooper. Start at 19:50 to hear the tape that was broadcast the night of the crash from WCTV Boston. A tape which has been memory holed and that all staff on that night deny.
The reason it's important: report says that radio contact was made with MV airport - but search crews say it was not, as it's the reason it took 15 hrs to get to the correct location to search (they started searching in Montauk Bay - north end of Long Island NY).
