The giant Playboy Bunny was commissioned by aristocrat Philip Astor who owned the 12,000 acre estate
The 12,000 acre estate and house was built in 1867 by Sir John Clark, the son of Queen Victoria's physician
Astor sold the estate two years ago and it appears the bunny was removed during a 'controlled burn'
Following its destruction, Astor said the bunny had 'a good innings' and said it was a matter for the new owner
