Lindsay Graham! ROTFL.

Investigation needs to be more broad than "dossier." What about the Ukraine? Aus, NZ, UK? Unmasking as a fishing expedition? Role of the press is advancing a rumor as though it had some basis in objective reality?

Graham is into damage control, make the inquiry narrow, find a fall guy, and call the job "comprehensive" and a resounding success.

It's politics. By definition, the point of politics is to affect the outcome of an election. That's the function of Congress, to affect the outcome of elections. If they can;t do it, they hire government and foreign spooks. The press is in on it too. The tool most often used? rank, fundamental dishonesty.

I'll take it too, but he needs to be reminded that the dossier is one object out of hundreds, and that the people have been deliberately misled by many efforts worthy of being exposed.

Risk of being over-ruled by home office, fired even. Targets of bogus investigations can allege malicious prosecution and abuse of power - won't win that in court but it does taint the institution.

SDNY is not the independent hazard that Mueller was.
