Katie Ford, CEO of Ford Models thru 2007, took over management in 1995, and was married to Standard hotel owner, Andre Balazs, from 1985 to 2004. They divorced 2004. Then, around 2007, Ford becomes involved w Freedom from Slavery organization and against human trafficking. Also involved w UN. Reminds me of Silsbury and Haiti, but dont know.
