I agree, anon. I love mom & pop shops, it's so much more personal!
I cancelled my Amazon account last year.I had to threaten to get a lawyer because they tried to refuse closing it-but eventually did!
Has anyone noticed that with many online accounts they no longer allow you to delete them?
I find that very invasive and controlling, hopefully this will be changed.
