Sorry for the delay. I was checking sauces for confirmation. It appears the article from Putin was from 2011. Haven't double checked the Japan article yet, but reading some other sauces, seems to be moar of the same…it's going to happen just a question of when and if the whole zone will quake or just one section. There has been prep planning in OR and WA this year. RV Anon warned against a massive quake in Cascadia, but take that with a grain of salt. I'm going to look for the article Japan put out abut a month ago.
