The vulnerability allows attackers to collect configuration files from the affected POS systems, and use this data to gain full access to the POS system and attached services. I'll admit that Micros itself doesn't seem too important, but when I started looking into Oracle and it's CIA links it raised my eyebrows.

One thing that jumped out at me was that if this guy does programming for Micros Systems, which is used in Hotels and restaurants, could there be some relation to what we unearthed regarding The Standard Hotel.
I don't mean just that one, but the idea that Hotels and in Comet Ping Pongs case, restaurants could be doing some sort of money laundering related to child/sex trafficking through this system.
