I am not a fan of the petition either but the reasoning given that it started here is simply junk. The three letter agencies are all in here so if they want to find you, they will. Why would signing the petition give them any additional encouragement to track you down than they would already have? 99% of the posters here are of no consequence to them and they would not waste the time to go after them.
