Because we have to look out for subtle shill ops, and this was looking to maybe be one. Chan culture self-corrects by aggressive calling out of stuff that starts pulling the culture or procedures off course.

This "anon" didn't take anon feedback and adjust, but continued to push an agenda. We should always be suspect of such behavior.

>Bakers ASK for people to call out, nominate notables. Even to collect sometimes.
Yes, but this an occasional, natural thing. This faggot was trying to create another unique position, and a namefagged one at that, in the "BA" or BakerAssist role. He and others were also trying to retcon that position as one that had always existed.
>The issue, and why BO chimed in, is that someone kept pushing their own notables, and talking shit about bakering.
Two separate issues: the Globals issue and then the BakerAssItch issue.
When anons start devolving into arguing what is or isn't the basic structure of how we run bakering, BO will often step in and make the call so we can all move fwd. He's very conservative with that function, which is good. We're largely self-run and that's how we like it. But BO knows when enough's enough.
