Jim Jordan says 'release it all,' not just the Mueller report
Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, argued all documents from and related to Robert Mueller’s investigation should be released if the special counsel’s full report is made public.
“If they do release everything, then by golly release it all,” Jordan told ABC’s “This Week” on Sunday.
Jordan demanded the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act application on Carter Page, "302" summaries from the FBI, which detail the bureau’s interviews with witnesses, and any briefings lawmakers have received on the counterintelligence investigation into President Trump also be released.
“We have asked for that information to be made public a long time ago,” he said, noting that he has previously asked Trump to release those documents.
Jordan would not say whether he would ask the president to also release the Mueller report on Russian interference in the 2016 election and possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.
“That’s the attorney general’s call and he’s going to do that consistent with the law,” he said. “If the Democrats are going to call for all that to be released, then they should call for everything to be released," he said.
“[Trump] said he wants it to be made public,” Jordan added.
Mueller delivered his report to Attorney General William Barr Friday afternoon, concluding his 22-month investigation. It’s now up to Barr to determine what will be released to Congress and the public.
