the Astor family has a branch
that is mostly connected to “Madie” Astor Ward
But the parents died at an early age.
That family is known as the Chanler (no d) branch of the Astors
After the parents died the astors gave their Rokeby Estate in NY to the Chanler family and placed a cousin in charge of raising the children.
That cousins name was Mary Marshall.
I'm a bit spooked because of the similarities to "Marshal Mathers"
