SC basically says that some supposedly level headed prosecutors would find obstruction on the facts.
YEP. SC punts to DOJ. Acosta reports that. DOJ takes the ball and finds no obstruction. Acosta ignores that.
Gowdy is all about institutional protection. That is a balance between committing wrong and never admitting wrong.
What the hell they were investigating was an anal probe of everybody on the Trump campaign, or that could be connected. See the unethical pressure put on Corsi for an example. Fishing expedition. RR said as much in his expanded scope letter - first we look at everybody in the Trump campaign. Should have been limited to activities of the campaign, but it was not limited that way.
Disgusting abuse of power.
I got another unanswered one for you. Who in DOJ authorized Comey to disclose an open counterintelligence investigation?
See Comey's March 20, 2017 testimony, "I have been authorized by the Department of Justice to confirm that the FBI, as part of our counterintelligence mission, is investigating the Russian government's efforts to interfere in the 2016 presidential election and that includes investigating the nature of any links between individuals associated with the Trump campaign and the Russian government and whether there was any coordination between the campaign and Russia's efforts."
The thing about the FBI, nothing they do can be a hoax, even if it is a hoax. They can manufacture crimes, lie with impunity. The system is self protective. When the system is investigating a hoax, it will conclude the hoax is not a crime, so there is no remedy at law.
