Maybe its time we start really focusing on calling "the media" for what it really is, since there do not seem to be educated journalists working anymore. What we have, permeating our lives via cable, satellite, and over the air, is a continuous stream of Propaganda. The phrase "media" really doesn't carry much weight when it in fact, is brainwashing countless citizens 24/7. The Ministry of History is furiously at work creating a false reality based on power mongers with access to unrestrained funding to tell the citizens what they should believe, or re-believe differently.
Perhaps we just start calling it "The Propaganda Machine" or something.
