The Electron rocket and its Curie upper stage will place the Radio Frequency Risk Reduction Deployment Demonstration (R3D2) spacecraft into orbit for the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, or DARPA, a research and development agency in the U.S. Defense Department. The R3D2 satellite will demonstrate the performance of a prototype reflect array antenna for use in small spacecraft. Delayed from late February.
