As a former JW, let me point out that the people who come to your door don't know about any of this shit. They just don't. The Elders might, but only for their congregation.

Let me also point out that, instead of hiding, you should just answer the door and, once they have completed their introduction, politely tell them to put you on the "do not call" list. That should take care of things for at least a year.
