Lately I have been trying to remember a Bill that was introduced in Congress in January 2009 after BHO had been sworn in…obviously something that had been drafted well beforehand and waiting for the right time to be introduced and slipped through.

If ever anything sent up warning flares, this one did.

At the time, I remember those few in the “conservative media” that spotted the legislation and tried to bring it to wide dissemination; they were basically dismissed as alarmists. The Bill was being presented as benign, “a good thing”, beneficial to the homeland, a supplement to the active military forces, the Secret Service, the local police, etc. “Nothing to see here folks, just move along.”

Reading between the lines, it appeared that the Obama administration was attempting to establish a paramilitary force on U.S. soil that basically would have answered to him…his own personal security/police force. Where was the transparency?

I did find the Bill H.R. 675, introduced Jan 26, 2009.

So, it faded away at the time. Put on the shelf for another day?
