I'm sure that a private security force is in play, i haven't looked into it but I'd have one if I were them.
Power/influence is protection enough. When you control the money, you control the people, and essentially own the labor through manipulation of currencies at will. Military needs to be paid too, so paying for wars (loaning to both/all sides) gives them the ability to write history by choosing who wins. Too much power for one family.
I keep that in the back of my mind, the Federal Reserve included!
Trust, yet verify, is the ideal here. With enough verification, many have reason to trust. Everyone who trusts isn't a blind follower. It takes both brains and balls to trust in some situations. True, trust is earned, to not trust anything though shows a lack of trust in one's own ability to discern. Trust yourself enough to know who to trust, and who not to trust.
Possibly Q team as anons. Possibly intelligent lurker anons monitoring and giving input as they determine is needed. Like that one quiet guy who seems like he's not paying attention, stops a whole room from arguing with a few words, then goes back to staring out the window. Simply because he's observant.
