Anon you need to expand your thinking. The Russian where just helping themselves….. Why shouldn't they. At the Time America was for sale to the highest bidder. If they would not have bought them somebody else would have.
The problem do not lies with foreign state buying US politician. That is to be expected. The problem is that the proverbial "GOOD GUYS" where letting it happen. The good guy who where suppose to protect your institution where letting someone like Feinstein work with the Chinese……. And they allowed someone like Hillary to sell SAP to foreign power in impunity.
The real culprit in all of this are the corrupt FBI, NSA, CIA official who where in power.
