Most of the DEMs will never get to acceptance. Nearly all of them are at the first step, denial. A few are angry and are planning to ratchet up their offense and lies.

Graham selling "Russians hacked the DNC" narrative. He's covering for CIA, FBI, etc. If it comes out that the CIA and FBI fabricated the dossier, what says they didn't also fabricate "Russia hacked the DNC?"

The institutions are not trustworthy, and Graham saying they are trustworthy does not make them trustworthy. It puts Graham in bed with the institutions.

Graham says SC is for "hot topics."

Hell's bells, lets have a SC for immigration. What a putz, Graham. SC are not for counterintelligence, and are not for "hot topics." They are for criminal investigations of the executive, where the public would not trust the institutions to investigate themselves.

If Graham was really working for the GOP, he'd give bad advice to the DEMs and tell them to push impeachment. He wouldn't tell them to learn from the political error of impeaching Bill Clinton.

Graham says everybody should trust Mueller. Gohmert doesn't!

Graham offers to the DEMs (the press) that he is going to help things by advancing "red flag" legislation.

Use of SC is a political calculation. It appears that the press will reject any finding or decision by Barr, so it's worth considering whether to appoint somebody not appointed by Trump (a conservative bulldog would be great) to go after the institutional failures.

I do tend to agree with you. Just use the usual apparatus. But choosing between that and SC is a political (public acceptance) calculation. So says 28 CFR 600.
