Calling for another special counsel has to be a ploy. Jeff Sessions answered to that last year in the letter to Grassley, Goodlatte, and Gowdy where he explained Huber had been assigned to work with Horowitz, and they would be investigating all those matters.
Sessions has been bashed so much for recusing from the Russia investigation, and it’s really funny when people ask what he did. One investigation out of the thousands, and it’s hilarious that he did nothing. Sessions came in and put the DOJ back on track, and if anyone has any doubts about that, they should read the remarks delivered by Barr and Rosenstein at his chair ceremony.
