Saudi Arabia to run out of groundwater in 13 years …The collapse of food producing agriculture won't be far behind

Read a more in depth article a few years ago than the one I posted. Basically the Saudis produced wheat in the desert for about 30 years by irrigating with ground water from ancient aquifers. Those aquifers are seriously depleted & will require thousands of years to refill.

What to do? Move agricultural production to the US (and probably other countries as well) and steal their water. The Saudis are also farming in Arizona & using precious water.
