As I understand it Bill Gates is the depopulation guy and his protégé Mark Zuckerberg is the life extension guy. Both are technocrats, a subset of the Cabal and are determined to live forever, one way or another. Organ transplants until cloning and consciousness transfer technology available and proven or more likely cyborg type technology before complete consciousness transfer into a quantum computer/AI. After that the entire human race is no longer required as androids can fulfil the mundane functions. I suppose specialised programs can mix AI personality types to produce 'offspring'.

Wives would've been chosen by or for them to support this end and I agree that it does indeed appear to be a matriarchy/priestess setup.
