Brian Kimeade has a great piece of speculation. The press will revive the following stories, individually, as evidence that Trump campaign colluded with the Russians. (The epiphany will be that collusion is not a crime) … Papadopolous, Trump Tower meeting … all stories that were aired before.

With a dishonest press, fiction has an infinite shelf-life.

Trump's lawyer, Dowd, said that the press's misinformation was so effective that it caused foreign leaders to question whether or not Trump would be around to execute deals that were discussed between Trump and the foreign leader.

False witness is an extremely toxic brew when applied to a person having civil power.

Heh. Yeah, these were not "mistakes," all of these are deliberate lies. The press is deliberately dishonest.

To be fair, that is its function. The notion that the press has a duty to be objective is a press-originated myth, used to give the press the benefit of the doubt. 150 years ago, it was well understood by the public that all journalism is yellow journalism or government propaganda.

Senators are purely self-serving. Zero spine in that body.
