May is a traitor to the UK people. Remember that.

She wanted Brexit-in-name-only, and was gladly selling us out in "negotiations" to Merkel and the EU.

Why put a new leader in to take blame for the current Brexit mess when you can force May to Brexit 'by any means necessary' regardless of optics?
