Best notables have information in text.

Readable .png thumbnails are not too bad.

Just links with no description, or images unreadable as thumbnails suck.

Notables should be browsable by hovering on the link in the current bread is the reason.

Also for archive purposes.

Loading a past bread to read an image or, worse, loading a past bread to get an offsite link then loading that link, sucks.
