Why are conservatives thought to be against conservationism?

The pro-business assumption? Dominion Rule?

The environmental crusade is the apparent moral high ground, but what is the reality of sustainability? It's our health

What happened as medicine became a business, more especially a high volume business?

Taking care of things is conservative. People have been taught to be consumers. It's unsustainable, obviously. Using

government to force compliance isn't going to work. People need to be empowered to learn to care about their health, indirectly

that redounds to the environment.

I think waking means knowing there are things to care about. First is the personal. Best expressed in taking care of your health.

Consumerism and conservationism don't mix. What keeps a consumer a consumer is the lack-awareness of how good he can feel if he took care of himself.
