We have been tracking cases of Tuberculosis, Measles, Mumps… Things damn near eradicated from western civilization.
Know a nurse near DC who came down with TB and was recovering from it. It is currently "somewhat contained" because of our higher hygiene standards and nutrition, as well as much of our population having been vaccinated against the big Ms - but one has to wonder how many illegals and their 'camps' are being ravaged by these diseases. Many of them do not approach authorities for fear of being found out - not to mention their coyote (read: employer) may disappear them.
We have a big problem with a few of these large companies bringing in illegals in the back of tractor trailers. They put them up in housing projects and you'll occasionally hear about twenty of them inadvertently killing themselves because they were trying to barbecue inside. They don't understand that our houses don't have holes everywhere, and you will die if you try to cook with charcoal inside. That, and they are packed in like sardines. But even when they are caught, it is cheaper to pay the fine and smooth things over than it is to, you know, hire legal citizens or immigrants.
