What's funny is this will establish the extreme entrapment is part and parcel of running for office when the other party is already in. Trump can surely spy on every powerful Democrat because of their nebulous dealings with foreigners and leak the details to the media, tap their buddies, etc. and because the DOJ hasn't actually decided there's anything wrong with it, it's fully legal. What would need to happen is for the people using the surveillance infrastructure to go to jail to stop this, but if they don't, Trump will just do it back but with legitimate reasons this time.

They're caught between, Obama goes to jail, or no more globalists will ever assume the Presidency because they will be spied on and any tiny thing rooted out. It's quite a neat little trap, total 4D chess. Trump has won the entire show with it.
