NOTABLE

An analysis of the discrepancies in RBG's SC audio.

I listened to RBG's remarks several times in last hour and have to agree with this analysis.. There is something off with her voice.

If you listen to all of the arguments you will hear that it is only in RBG remarks where there is voice over voice..

RBG speaks over Sotomeyer (or kagan) not once, but twice, and it is the same words each time.

What does this mean?

Is she actually there are is she skyping? or what?

It is her voice and the questions are relevant and the lawyers do answer, but something is amiss.

So yeah, that’s her on the Supreme Court clip, as far as I know. (And if it’s not, it’s a heckuva voice actress, because she’s a dead-ringer for RBG).

But something was bothering me about this clip, and I wasn’t sure what it was exactly, so I returned to it early this afternoon…

I had it playing in a tab on my browser when I clicked ahead, and suddenly heard what I thought was a repeat of audio I had just heard.

“Huh, that’s weird…” I thought to myself.

I clicked back and listened again.

There was that voice again.

Kagan’s voice!

I clicked forward…

Kagan AGAIN!

Listen for yourself. Start at ~21:25 and wait for Kagan to come in and say:

Ms. Johnson, some-

And then click forward to ~22:38. Again, you’ll hear:

Ms. Johnson, some-

I had to see what was going on, so I went to the Supreme Court’s site, and pulled the MP3 of the arguments from there:

another thing in agreement with whoever did this analysis.

I did pretty much the same thing they did.

I wanted to go back and hear it again and realized I was getting lost in following her voice and the transcripts because of the fleeting second of RBG talking over somebody,

I though I was hearing the same remark twice, but if was only the very beginning that was the same.
