More dual-tier justice. The justice system shields well-connected persons from consequences.

$$$ talks, so does extortion, threats, and promises.

Having the investigation open, even doing nothing, facilitates a claim "there is something there." Open investigation is taint. Innocent people are not put under EXTENDED investigation.

Speculation and innuendo are, in the modern day, more powerful than facts and evidence.

It took replacing Sessions to kick the sham loose. Mueller would have kept this open until 2021 but for Barr assuming oversight.

I am not criticizing Sessions, his recusal was well-taken. My point is that Mueller and Rosenstein were in cahoots to cast as much shade as they could on Trump, for as long as they could.

I don't agree with the theory, but RR/Mueller sitting on the conclusion might be a whitehat move to keep the angry DEMs busy or corralled; or just that timing for clearing Trump wasn't right.

I think that is BS. Trump wants conclusions to come fast. He was not pleased about being investigated, but agreed to one, get it done, and get it done fast. He wants to move on.

Whether delay and resulting show of DEM overplay (Nadler, etc.) helps kill the DEM party dead dead dead, who knows.

All that said, Trump and his supporting players have limited power, and this political war, like any war, is unpredictable. Art of War - he's doing very well.

And Mueller is, IMO, at least as dirty as Comey. I doubt Wray is clean. i see him as an ego-driven climber, who will lie to protect the FBI.
