POTUS is allowing Cohn to leave his administration with the appearance that Cohn disagrees with POTUS regarding tariffs. POTUS also called him a globalist a few times, jokingly. POTUS is sending Cohn off with gratitude and graciousness, and even mentioned tariffs one last time as he wished Cohn goodbye, in order to drive home the connection: Cohn/tariffs/globalist.
