"The FBI is ready to share counterintelligence findings from special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation with congressional leaders during a closed-door briefing.
The Gang of Eight, which includes the Republican and Democratic leaders of the House and the Senate, along with the top members of the intelligence committees, are expected to be briefed by the FBI within the next 30 to 60 days behind closed doors, according to NBC News.
It's unclear whether the briefing will take place. Two Democratic members of the Gang of Eight, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, both California Democrats, said in recent days they don’t want private briefings in lieu of releasing Mueller's entire report to the public…."
