The spy used to set up Don Jr, Natalia Veselnitskaya had to receive special permission to enter the country. Her visa came from the State Department, which was run by John Kerry at the time of the meeting in June 2016. This was after U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara of Manhattan had specifically refused Veselnitskaya’s request on her attempt to enter the country purportedly for an unrelated court proceeding.
