I believe the implication is that if Trump interfered in the Russia investigation that it would have implicated Ivanka and Donald Jr. (https://themoscowproject.org/explainers/trumps-russia-cover-up-by-the-numbers-70-contacts-with-russia-linked-operatives/) and interference would have been considered a criminal coverup for the crime of Treason resulting in impeachment followed by Democrat supervised evidence falsification to prove this alleged Treason and result in Trump's children and possibly Trump himself being executed for Treason

Trump consequently had to ensure the Mueller investigation reached a natural conclusion of no collusion while ensuring the investigation actually does have an end without being considered to be interfering before he can even begin to go after the Deep State because that would be spun into accusations of interference if he did.
