So something POTUS said in the speech tonight, interview with Hannity, was that old "Truth is stranger than fiction" line. He said people wouldn't believe it because in the rule of fiction, it can't be too unbelievable in terms of coincidences. If there are too many coincidences, people won't believe it.

"If you wrote this as a novel, no one would believe it, because it would be too unbelievable." (It's at about 17:19, 17 for context)

I'm gonna go out on a limb and suggest that the origin of the phrase is somewhat of a trick. The Truth is stranger than Fiction because Truth is a fiction in the sense that it's a LARP for the sheep. That means the fact that the fiction is labeled as truth means that the truth isn't the actual truth and therefore it's stranger than fiction because fiction is straightforward fiction.

The other aspect is that fiction has to keep restraints so the Truth presented to sheep is believable truth.

In a sense, the real truth behind the scenes is multiple interweaving story lines which can't be easily understood without some serious compartmentalization tactics for maintaining the multiple points of progress.

Yeah that could have easily been double speak or something.

Trump is so freaking crafty.

He's had so much practice socializing with all ages in all manner of jobs, sharpest wit probably known.

He can have a conversation with my dad without even knowing him. Meanwhile, I can't hardly have a conversation with him.

It's like he knows how to talk shop with every person alive.
