God Emperor comes from the universe of Warhammer 40K. Which is a tabletop game that basically follows the rule of extremes. Mankind ended up fighting a war against AI machines and the God Emperor led the revolution.

Russia is Russia.

It is obvious that they are going to do what is in their interest, whether that is particularly "legal" by our standards, or not, is simply a risk factor.

That doesn't necessarily make them "bad" or "good" - it is difficult to reduce a nation down to a single determination like that.

That said, certain powers within Russia most certainly did try to tamper with the election, we will see where all of that leads. Some interesting families have ties to Russia.
