Pope's red shoes refer to the early Popes who were all martyred (killed by others for their Christian faith) and it demonstrates the Pope is willing to die for his faith and to protect his flock. Strangely Pope Francis refused to wear the red shoes. And the red shoes are made of animal leather NOT human leather. So do some actual research instead of slandering people.
