Entirely possible there is a chinese deep state element that has been pimping behind the scenes and Xi is running parallel to trump. Power grab is what the western media is calling it. The whole thing is opaque.

We ran an op in shanghai. To me, that signals chinese authorities are working with us. No way they let American Special Operations go in to make arrests. Chinese operators did that in coordination with us. If something happens wrong, it would be wildly embarrassing for them.
