It would be nice if states were left to their own devices to govern themselves. If one state wants to go crazy and try socialism and another wants to mandate gun ownership….Fantastic. People can move to the one that best suits them. Competition will determine which model(s) work best. Of course that led to conditions of using slaves I suppose before the Civil war.
