>I meant jump start.

As in it was stopped? As in you would be dead then.

>I know exactly what it is, do you faggot?

Tell me, at what RPM does the stator in the ATP synthase motor in your mitochondria spin at?

Tell me how many units of ATP do you get from one unit of glucose vs one unit of fat?

Further, you get about 300% more ATP from one unit of fat then from one unit of glucose.

Mitochondrial metabolic flexibility is a great survival mechanism, but people think it ketosis should be a constant metabolic state. Not true. Simplest way to argue against is look at the primary food substrates present in our environment…. it's all carbs.

>Ketosis is NOT the adaptive state; it is the default state.

Really, then why do we store fat and only carry about 2,000 calories of glucose stores if ketosis is the default state?

>This is why carbs cause the body to store fat, trigger cravings to induce overfeeding, etc.

I can show you plenty of people who walk around sub 10% bodyfat and eat carbs all day.

ALL DIETS END AT THE MOUTH.

It's not WHAT you eat, but what your body DOES with what you eat. That's called nutrient partitioning and it is a metabolic process controlled by your endocrine system. Modulate your endocrine system and you will achieve the proper physiological results.
