Accenture spun off before the Weissmann hit. Interesting argument their.

Thought popped up the other day that the assignment was to collapse the Big 8 so that EY (((their))) non-accounting firm could take all the FAANGS without consequence.

Who knows.

Oh, Andersen was arrogant. To some extent they all are. And sadly, I know the industry very well, too.

The head of EY - who is resigning this summer - was the asst treasurer for Bush 2 I think. I've got it all somewhere.

I will say, with great sincerity, that it is not reasonable to plop them all into the evil category. Some partners think they are doing to right thing, and try hard to be good people. They do, however, get lost in the cesspool.

Funny thing, even the good ones will admit they are not FORENSIC accountants - they just verify the numbers as written. Lots of fraud everywhere - never caught.
