It is beyond comprehension HOW the FBI and DOJ can look into the Smollett debacle when these agencies allowed

the AGT International technology transfer to Russia and other agents.

As for Smollett- the hubris is stunning. Is it stupidity or strategy?

Is this [Obama camp] flipping the bird at Trump because Mueller dropped the ball on Russiagate? Tit for tat

Why do I dig on this? Because no one in the FAKE NEWS gives the Grand Jury on this case credit for seeing a rat and calling it out. They are pointing fingers at the POLICE DEPT and creating a distraction. Grand Jury=peers.

So- the news is filled with data re:Smollett's record expunged and case dropped by Kimberly M. Foxx, the first African American woman to lead the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office – the second largest prosecutor’s office in the country. Kim’s message of reform, restoring trust, and working with the community to increase public safety, resonated with the diverse citizens across the county who want to see a more balanced criminal justice system

I wonder what they think now or when DOJ gets hold of this.

Is this Foxx's idea of a more balanced system-let Smollett go free due to time served in the community?

Actually-

The grand jury process is prosecutor-friendly in that grand jurors see and hear only what prosecutors put before them.

What smells bad here?

https://www.nolo.com/legal-encyclopedia/why-prosecutors-choose-grand-juries-preliminary.html

The grand jury plays an important role in the criminal process, but not one that involves a finding of guilt or punishment of a party. Instead, a prosecutor will work with a grand jury to decide whether to bring criminal charges or an indictment against a potential defendant – usually reserved for serious felonies…

Will we now get to see a new reformed FBI or the old and compromised one? Whatever the results its a smell test for sure.

I get that and agreed.

Gateway Pundit/Hoft is doing a fantastic job exposing the the AGT International technology (CF?) transfer to Russia and other agents.

But its getting lost in all the Smollett distraction.

Clever-

THAT is what I hope the FBI/DOJ can keep focused on.

Talk about treason- this is the whale not the sardine.
