I TRIED TO WAKE YOU

I tried to wake you, from your sleep.

Never once did you, make a peep.

I nudged you, over and over and over again.

You are one sound sleeper, my dear friend.

You've scrolled past my memes.

You’ve scrolled past my posts.

You've scrolled past the things,

that matter the most.

I shared the truth, for you to see,

simply trying to, set you free.

I know you've been busy,

trying to keep up with life.

It is challenging to be a mother, father,

husband or wife.

I will not give up on you, my friend,

please, don't give up on me.

You're not stupid and I'm not crazy.

We've taken different paths and

had all gotten lazy.

I've been awake now, since before the dawn.

And have freed myself from being a pawn.

The time Is now half-past noon.

The whole world will be awakened soon.

When you wake come find me,

many things will be hard to see.

But, know the war has been won,

by Our Holy Father and his Son.

I can't wait to tell you the story.
