I have Great respect for, and have been transfixed in awe by our Patriots in uniform.
Throughout my civilian life and career I have been witness to more military capabilities than I can probably remember right now.
I worked for years as an Offshore Commercial Fisherman on George’s Bank and beyond.
I’ve been from the Flemish Cap to The bay of Campeche.
The Fighters out of Otis used us as mock targets. We’d be far offshore and they’d (kindly) sometimes warn us they were about with a slow fly-by, wheels and flaps down, 50 feet above the waves.
Others times we’d be working and jump 3 feet off the deck as one roared overheard, banking away, going into full afterburner. ( LOUD ) They’d buzz us again and again.
Sometimes they’d fly over low and slow, inverted, waving at us.
It was so awesome to watch. Every inch of my skin would be covered with Goose Bumps.
I was airlifted by the Coast Gaurd in a Sikorsky with a head injury one Feb. in a raging Gale and was brought to the Hyannis Hospital.
The bravery it must take, to run a mission such as this, is no doubt above and beyond what I can explain or comprehend.
To look down from that basket, to see the boat plowing into thirty foot seas, to watch it shrink away to almost a toy as the Chopper Pilot powered up and away from the rigging, WOW!
On a Lobster Boat, off No-Mans Island, we slung baskets of Lobsters up to a National Gaurd Huey during bi-weekly weekend training.
I felt my heart glow with pride, as a Sub steamed by out on the Banks, with Old Glory flying and the Sailors waving madly from the sail.
I’ve done quite a bit of Commercial Diving as well and perhaps the best day was when I unexpectedly had the honor of doing bounce dives to 200+’ on the BeaverTail at Newport with 8 guys, 2 of which we’re active Seals.
I learned more that day and had more fun than I think any other day diving.
Cool, calm, 100 percent confident and capable, professional yet fun loving beyond words were these men!
Yes, I have a mighty respect for our Patriots in uniform.
It’s been a blessing to be involved with all you Patriots here as well.
To vote for and see President Trump get elected.
To be a (very small) part of this great undertaking.
To witness the Q Team at work.
To see us fighting together, to win back this Great Country, The Republic of The United States of America, from evil.
I’ve worked hard during my life. I lost a leg to a crushing injury offshore. I married a wonderful woman (36 yrs.) and raised two great kids.
I have been blessed, I have had more fun than a man like me is probably worthy of.
I’m so very proud to give back in some small way.
Yes, I respect our Patriots in uniform. I love these United States.
Thank You all for fighting!
God Bless each and every one of you!
